Manchester star Aitch and London’s Jnr Choi have been nominated for the 10th spot of this year’s XXL Freshman Class!
XXL Magazine opened voting for the 10th spot of the 2022 Freshman Class yesterday (April 4) and while the list is dominated by U.S. artists, Aitch and Jnr Choi represent for the UK with their nominations.
Other rappers in the running for the 10th spot include B-Lovee, Kaash Paige and SpotemGottem among others.
The poll allows the public to vote for who they want to see on XXL’s annual Freshman Class list which predicts which artists are “set to light up hip-hop’s solar system for years to come”. Previous alumni of the 10th spot include the likes of J. Cole, Nipsey Hussle and Kendrick Lamar.
It’s not Aitch’s first time in the running for the spot as he was nominated last year alongside the likes of Pa Salieu, slowthai and Lancey Foux.
The polls are open until this Sunday (April 10) and you are allowed to vote once every hour.
