Brixton’s Ard Adz has returned with the visuals for his contemplative and insightful record, “Grown”, with Skore Beezy, Lily McKenzie and Bellzey.
Taken from Adz’s Dinner For One project, “Grown” is an honest and open dialogue about the group’s struggles growing up and entering the game. Throughout the track, complex wordplay is strung over a stripped-back acoustic instrumental while Lily delivers a heartfelt intro and outro.
This is not the only time Adz and Beezy have connected on a track as it was only a few months the pair linked up with Bigga Picture to deliver “When it Rains it Pours”. In 2016, they also appeared together on Tremz’s “Pull Up Hop Out Bang” remix and in hindsight, this marked the beginning of a fruitful, collaborative relationship between the two creatives.
