Backroad Gee has announced a brand-new project dubbed Reporting Live From The Back Of The Roads.
As well as revealing the title of the mixtape, the east London-raised rapper also shared the artwork and release date on his socials too.
Due for release on October 1st, Reporting Live From The Back Of The Roads comes in the midst of a busy year for the rapper who has made a string of big features, as well as releasing his own solo tracks such as “Take Time”, “A YO” and more recently “Bad Mind”.
The mixtape is Backroad Gee’s first project since the release of Mukta Vs Mukta which dropped last summer.
“It has been a exciting and thrilling year since my last project, ‘MUKTA VS MUKTA’ dropped,” Backroad Gee wrote when announcing his new tape on Instagram. “There has been some crazy, epic, emotional moments for me, my team and I wouldn’t change anything.
“After almost 2 years of hard work, blood, sweat, & tears (literally), I can say I’ve had some of the craziest life changes which makes this mixtape mean so much to me.”
He added: “If you know me personally, this music & energy I give you, is me from the heart, it is not a job I go to, or an identity I put on. Every word, every punchline, every ad-lib, I feel through the energy’s & the music is real, not a fairytale.”
