Some amazing news came out of the recent D23 expo for gamers and comic fans alike, as Skydance New Media announced they’re working on a new joint Black Panther and Captain America project.

Whilst the title and release date for the game are yet to be announced, we have been gifted with a new teaser trailer for it, which could give fans an insight into what the new title will hold.

Joining the two heroes are Howling Commanders member Gabriel Jones and a Wakandan spy named Nanali, whilst the setting of the game appears to be a World War Two-era Wakanda and Paris.

Skydance are a relatively new games studio, but are led by former Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig, who is responsible for flagship games such as Uncharted and Jak 3.

The game seems to take inspiration from the four issue 2010 run of a comic series called Black Panther/Captain America: Flags of Our Fathers in which T’Challa’s grandfather King Azzuri and Steve Rogers teamed up to take on Hitler and the Red Skull.

Whether or not the new game will take a similar path remains to be seen, but stay tuned to GRM Daily for more updates on it.
