Uber has added another sick feature

Last month we told you about the game-changing Uber-Eats service which taxi company Uber has recently rolled out, and it seems like they’re a hand-held gift that keeps on giving.

The handy app recently announced that it would let customers in London (sorry rest of the country) pre-book cabs 30 days in advance. The ‘Schedule an Uber’ feature will first be available to Business account users, launching at 4pm on Thursday.

Until now, customers were only able to book a cab when they were ready to ride. So imagine how much time we’ll save; instead of staring at the app, and then furiously screaming when the cab inevitably cancels on you when you have a flight to catch, you’ll be able to book in advance. Lovely.

Uber’s General Manager said, “Instead of tapping a button a few minutes before you need your ride, you can now tell us hours or days in advance when you need a car and we’ll do it for you…Many of our riders, especially business customers, have asked us to introduce this feature and we’re really excited to bring it to Londoners.”

You will however, still be bitten by the annoying surge pricing increase if booking in peak times.
