Apple Music have returned with a brand-new instalment of The Agenda Live featuring west London’s Central Cee.
The rapper released his highly-anticipated Wild West mixtape last month and while on Apple Music’s performance-based series, he performs one of the standout tracks – “Ruby”.
The single samples Foreigner’s iconic “Cold as Ice” and sees Central Cee display his storytelling skills as he details a narrative which explores themes such as poverty, crime and abuse. Connecting with DIR.LX, Central Cee delivers a performance just as striking as the track to mark his agenda: “Carve your lane, make your mark, tell your story. Don’t let your environment define you.”
The Agenda Live is the partner video series to Apple Music’s flagship The Agenda playlist which highlights talent representing hip-hop, grime, R&B, Afrobeats and everything in between.
The series kicked off in January with a performance from Pa Salieu which you can watch right here after you’ve seen Central Cee perform “Ruby” here.
