Chip has been the talk of the town, going back and forth with Bugzy Malone and airing his feelings towards Tinie, he has helped breathe life in to the competitive element of Grime. Almost bringing us back to the days of the “War Report”, when it was every MC for themselves and nobody was safe.
However, amidst all the drama and competition it’s very easy to forget that Chip is in fact a human being and not just a conveyer belt of sing-a-long war dubs. In this exclusive interview with Caroline SM on #NewGenRadio at Radar Radio, we finally get to hear his views on some untouched but frequently questioned topics, like going mainstream. This interview is honest, open and most of all filled with wisdom. Through all the high and lows his career has succumbed to, the Tottenham MC drops gems for the future generation and breaks down just how hard it was entering the mainstream as an “urban” artist and at such a tender age.
Chip even plays a brand new track from ‘Belive & Achieve: Episode 2’ entitled “Bookey”.
