Have you ever wondered but 12 tonnes of cocaine looks like?
Columbian police have discovered 12 tonnes of cocaine in the largest drug seizure in the country’s history. The drugs were found buried under four banana plantations in North Columbia and reached a value of £275m ($360m). To put the scale of this drugs bust into context, the UK’s biggest bust currently stands at a tiny three tonnes.
The move is pretty huge considering here in the UK, we’re more likely to find cocaine chilling on the beach, in Yacht heists or in Nesquik.
