In this week’s Crepcheck, in true holiday spirit, we bring you several silhouettes which have dressed up for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas seasons.
Of course Nike are getting involved with the celebrations, continuing their yearly celebration by bringing us two costumed classics just in time for Saturday. This year they’ve wrapped up the Blazer Mid as a Mummy in a white and beige colourway. The shoe is made of a white midsole and white upper which actually has a thin fabric wrap covering it. The shoe is finished with a marled grey tick and heel tab, and is accented with gum foxing and mint Nike logo on the tongue.

Keeping with tradition, Nike have released a second creepified silhouette this year. Second up we have the Nike Air Huarache Light. The top of the shoe features a grey woven upper with navy suede panelling, which sits atop a wavey navy midsole. The shoe is accented with orange on the insole and Nike swoosh, and is finished with icy blue lace stays. This edition doesn’t have a set release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
A little early but too sick not to feature, we’ll finish this week up with the ASICS Gel Lyte Holiday Pack. The shoe comes in two tinsely editions – a Silver Gel Lyte III and a Gold Gel Lyte V.
The silver edition of course comes in a bright metallic silver colourway, comprised of a leather upper and textile lining. The gold V comes in a similar sparkly fashion, with a bright gold upper and suede foxing. Both silhouettes sit on a white midsole. Get mad prepared for Christmas and grab a pair on the 30th of October – stockists to be released soon.
