Former solider Daniel Khalife has pleaded not guilty to escaping from Wandsworth prison.
Khalife is charged with escaping from lawful custody after allegedly breaking out of Wandsworth on Wednesday the 6th September. The man allegedly strapped himself to a food delivery van using bedsheets.
The Metropolitan Police say that a plain clothed counter-terrorism officer arrested Khalife in Northolt on the 9th September – Khalife is accused of spending four days on the run.
Khalife appeared via video link from Belmarsh prison according to the BBC and he is due back in court on the 13th October.
