New York rapper, Dave East, is currently making his first visit to London, to promote his upcoming album; slated to be released later this year.
As most US rappers taking the trip across the pond, his first visit was to the hip-hop gatekeeper, Tim Westwood, and he clearly had something very important he wanted to get off his chest. He dropped a freestyle which featured a moving tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle over Pretty Rick’s “On the Hotline” which Nipsey famously freestyled over on “Late Nights and Early Mornings” off The Marathon project.
