Returning with his first release of 2021 is south east London’s Deema who has shared a brand new single titled “Can I?”, with accompanying visuals.
Emphasising his signature style, Deema effortlessly raps over a piano-led beat produced by long-term collaborator Dom Valentino. Putting his own imprint on a 90’s hip-hop-inspired sound, his inch-perfect delivery provides a highly addictive soundscape supporting his efforts of reaching new heights.
The accompanying video – directed by Zaineb Abelque – is a playful take on the influx of favours asked which comes with Deema’s growing success. Providing an alluring, nostalgic feel, the video exposes the fun moments life brings Deema; magnifying his happiness when chilling with friends as one day rolls into the next.
