Donae’O is back to reignite his pioneering sound, which in itself can be classified as its own unprecedented genre. Not only has he dropped back to back visuals over the space of only a few months, but he is already back with another single, this time with the earnest vocals of Giorgia Lo on the track “Stay”.

Though the track carries a commercialised R&B and funky house fusion, with its classic key structure, it also offers a refined British pop sound that we have heard from the likes of Jorja Smith and Mabel with their recent national chart successes.

“Stay” comes off of Donae’o’s latest project #PartyHarder, a polish body of work which mixes the producing vocalists love of house; but with a variation of tempos from its funky, rap, bashment and UK Garage components, all of which are equally dispensed throughout. Released on New Years Eve, it aided in the establishment of Donaeo in the New Year, reinstating his influence and relevance in the forever-blooming UK scene, which also correspondingly celebrates his partnership with Island Records last year.

Re-visiting the foundational, inventive sounds that we heard on hit songs such as “Lock Doh” and “Party Hard”, the 12 track project is now available to stream across multiple platforms, as well as being made available as a free download.
