As expected, anticipation for Drake’s next album is high and now the Canadian star has provided us with another update on the forthcoming project.
Taking to his Instagram story, Drake revealed how far he is into the album-making process, sharing images of him working in the studio before posting a selfie alongside the text “80%.”.
The latest update on Drake’s album comes after he teased a summer 2020 release for the project, writing on Instagram when he announced Dark Lane Demo Tapes: “Also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!!” However, at present, there is no official release date for the album.
Drake’s upcoming LP will serve as the follow-up to his 2018 studio album, Scorpion, which featured the big hits “Nonstop”, “In My Feelings” and “God’s Plan”.
Back in April, Drake joined Diddy during his Instagram Live Dance-a-Thon where he said of his upcoming album “this is the most excited I’ve been about an album in a long time” so we can expect big things from the LP.
