The 2010s has been a massive decade for Drake so it comes as no surprise that the Canadian star has been named Spotify’s most streamed artist of the decade.
At current, Drake has been streamed over 28 billion times, followed by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Ariana Grande and Eminem. Post Malone is also 2019’s most streamed artist with over 6.5 billion streams.
The data was revealed by Spotify’s 2019 Wrapped which highlights the top ranking artists, tracks and podcasts, as well as the streaming data of the last decade.
Spotify Wrapped will release personalised data to users this week, displaying their most played artists, tracks genres, and more.
With the decade coming to an end very soon, this year’s Spotify Wrapped will also show users their listening habits from the 2010s.
