Ed Sheeran may be one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now, but he clearly still hasn’t forgotten the love he received from the urban world in the formative years of his career, as he’s released another amazing cover of a rap song.
After tackling Fetty Wap’s smash hit “Trap Queen“, he’s now decided to take on Canadian MC/singer Tory Lanez and his single “Say it”. It’s a toned down, acoustic version of the song, but still retains some of the skittering drum machine loops too. Hilariously, Ed Sheeran released the track on a new SoundCloud page just for the track, under the user name “alright Tory mate?”.
As a comparison, listen to the original Tory Lanez tune here.
