Situated along Barking Road, one of the defining features of Eighty’s Kitchen is that it aims to be an authentic dining experience without the hefty price tag.
The establishment features stylish decor and artwork adorning the soft-hued walls. Specialising in the timeless combination of Jollof Rice and Jerk Chicken, Eighty’s has consistently demonstrated its commitment to high-quality standards since its launch earlier this year. The CEO Michael Flakes, has styled the restaurant as a “Caribbean-Nobu takeaway”, located in the heartlands of East London.
Considering Eighty’s Kitchen is still in its infancy, the ground that it’s covered has been hugely impressive. Working with clients ranging from Island Records, Soho House, BMI Publishing as well as directly catering for the likes of MS Banks and Russ Millions; it’s clear that the food is most certainly speaking for itself.
On the 10th of December, Eighty’s Kitchen will host an exclusive Christmas takeover of Iron Bloom in Shoreditch, in which it will deliver a festive menu with its signature Afro-Caribbean twist. The one day event will also of course have great music and to accompany the flavours being served up.
