Elon Musk has made headlines again this month by announcing his plans to recreate how we listen to music by developing a chip under his “Computer Brain” company Neuralink.
The billionaire is famous for his various technological endeavours over the past couple of years, however, Elon is also infamous in pop culture conversations with his recent public support for Kanye West’s controversial presidential run and his choice of baby names.
The tech giant plans on implanting thin wires into participants brains that would have the function to link up with external technology such as a computer to create an advanced Bluetooth like link.
Elon made it clear that Neuralink is being constructed to tackle more serious problems as well with the idea to prevent rapid firing for people who suffer from OCD, in addition, the ability to simulate the effects of drugs such as Oxytocin to treat people suffering from depression and mental health disorders.
As the news hit the internet many questioned the abilities and safety on Elon’s invention taking to twitter ask Musk himself, to which he responded.
