England’s Lionesses have beat Germany to win UEFA’s European Women’s Football Championship!
After taking the lead in the 62nd minute, England then conceded a goal to Germany in the 79th minute.
However, England’s Chloe Kelly was able to bring it home in extra time where she poked the ball into the back of the net from close range.
The win marks the country’s first major trophy since the men’s side won the World Cup in 1966.
Spekaing to the BBC after the game, Kelly said: “This is what dreams are made of.”
After lifting the trophy, captain Leah Williamson said: “This is the proudest day of my life.”
