With just a matter of hours to go, as we eagerly wait for the release of Giggs’ brand new album Big Bad, we’re reliving the past year and a half taking a look back at Gigg’s musical journey from his last project Wamp 2 Dem to present date Big Bad, reminiscing his most fire verses and memorable features. From Afrobeats to gritty New York hip hop, Giggs has contributed a wide range of features and collaborated with so many different artists, showing us his ever evolving flow, bars and versatility; here’s a look at our top 9 features.

Swizz Beatz – “Come Again” ft. Giggs (2018)

Off of Swizz Beatz’ most recent album Poison, this was a huge moment for Giggs and UK Rap. As the only UK feature on the album alongside features from Kendrick Lamar, Jadakiss, Nas and Lil’ Wayne, this was a major power move for the landlord and certified the strength of UK rap.

Mr Eazi – “London Town” ft. Giggs (2018)

This track dominated summer 2018, and created a real moment in the city when the cover artwork for the single was painted as a huge mural in the heart of East London.

Theophilus x Giggs – “Bebey” (SN1 Road Mix) (2018)

Channelling that classic rocksteady/ska reggae sound, very reminiscent of the likes of Toots and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker and Jimmy Cliff, this SN1 road mix of course dropped just in time for Notting Hill Carnival and rounded off summer 2018 brilliantly.

Tempah T – “Likkle Pickney” ft. Giggs (2018)

Nothing but pure energy. The chemistry between these two on this track was electric. Considering how long Tempah and Giggs have been in the game, it’s mad that the two had never collaborated until this point, making this tune and Giggs’ verse an even bigger moment.

RA – “Pistol” ft. Giggs (2018)

From when you hear that signature “teddyyyyy” on the intro you know you’re in for some heavy hitting, pure street, gritty bars. These two South London vets certainly didn’t disappoint – straight greeze.

Lily Allen ft. Giggs – “Trigger Bang” (2017)

Sonically a different vibe for Giggs, but still maintained that raw social commentary about life in the inner city that fans have come to love Giggs for. A seemingly unlikely pairing at first glance but the genuine friendship between the two makes this track even sweeter.

Kojo Funds – “PNG” ft. Giggs (2018)

The title of the track says it all really, Giggs didn’t come to play games with that verse.

Sneakbo – “Active” ft. Giggs (2017)

Even though this technically dropped just a couple of weeks before Wamp 2 Dem, we had to give an honourable mention to this feature. After first premiering on the FIFA 18 soundtrack, this track generated so much hype and anticipation before it even officially dropped, and when it did, it went on to shut down raves/dances/functions up and down the city. Giggs completely eats this beat, South London rap at its finest.

AJ Tracey – “Nothing But Net” ft. Giggs (2019)

Coming off of Tracey’s debut album
AJ Tracey, this is easily top 2 on the whole album. The fact that AJ had to go and change his verse after hearing Giggs’ verse on this says everything you need to know about this feature
