On the first episode of At Home With…, Liverool midfield maestro and Dutch International Gini Wijnaldum welcomed Vuj into his humble abode to have a chat about his experiences with English football.
Prior to moving from Newcastle in 2016, the Dutchman has scored 7 goals in 45 appearances for the reds and now sees England as his new home, especially as it only takes him an hour to get back to Rotterdam.
As well as chopping it up about life at Anfield, Wijnaldum also spoke to Vuj about balancing his footballing life with fatherhood, after he welcomed the birth of his newborn son last year. Besides the football talk, Gini also revealed his love for Primark socks, saying he buys them is mass bulk to remain stocked up.
Gini also stressed the importance of family time and for the past 9 years, he has made a conscious effort to ensure he goes back home to Suriname, a sovereign state on the north-eastern Atlantic coast of South America to visit his sister.
