Grenfell Athletic Football Club have partnered with confectionery company Cadbury to launch a brand-new, limited edition chocolate bar!
Available exclusively from Kitlocker today (August 11), the bars are packaged in an eye-catching green to reflect the kit of Grenfell Athletic FC – the club founded in 2017 to provide a positive outlet to those in West London who were affected by the tragic fire.
The launch will see an initial run of 2,000 bars, allowing the team’s supporters to taste the community’s own chocolate.
Each 360g bar costs £5 and for an extra £2, customers will receive a Grenfell Athletic FC Loyalty Card which offers free access to all home games, 10% discount on Grenfell Athletic clothing at Kitlocker and exclusive updates and video content from the team.
All proceeds will go into supporting the development of Grenfell Athletic and its aspirations to create women’s and junior teams, as well as the work the club does within its community.
Speaking on the collaboration, Grenfell Athletic FC’s founder Rupert Taylor said: “This club is so much more than a football team. The sense of community we have been able to build, and the support we have been able to give has been immeasurable.
“Cadbury’s support means that our club can continue to benefit our community and helps us with our future ambitions the most pressing of which, is to launch a women’s youth team.”
