We’ve seen a number of brands unveil pretty weird creations in the past and a new garment from Gucci is definitely bizarre to say the least.
The luxury fashion brand has unveiled its autumn/winter collection for 2020 and among the range is a pair of distressed grass-stained jeans. The jeans feature green stains on the knees and faded splotches of brown near the ankles.
Despite looking as though they’ve been worn by someone who’s been crawling around in a park, the jeans are on sale for £600.
In the description of the jeans, Gucci wrote: “Channelling the Fall Winter 2020 collection’s grunge vibe, this wide-leg denim pant is crafted from organic cotton specifically treated for a stained-like, distressed effect.
“Gucci explores new takes on the cult fabric, reinterpreting it with different designs and washing techniques that blur the line between vintage and contemporary.”
So if you haven’t got time to slide around in a park to achieve the grass-stained look on your jeans, you know where to go to find a ready-made pair!
