Wireless Festival is the talk of the town this weekend and it’s also the topic of discussion in the brand-new episode of the Halfcast Podcast.
Like many other UK festivals, Wireless’ initial line-up contained a lack of female acts throughout the weekend and the event organisers attempted to tackle this issue by announcing an all-female stage. The controversial move has been welcomed by a few but challenged by many, with the Halfcast crew representing the latter. They believe the all-female stage prevents credible female acts from shutting down the main stage which in turns discredits their talent.
