Nines, everybody’s favourite trapper’s trapper of the year, has posted up an Instagram video that implies he’s just made a big career decision.
He’s @’d record label XL Recordings in the caption and can be heard in the short clip saying “I had half a mil before the deal”. Is this the Ice City Boyz way of revealing he’s signed?
Nines has been doing it independent for a hot sec now and doing big numbers too. However, XL have a good history with gangster rap from the UK, having inked a deal with Giggs in the past, so this could work out to be a match made in heaven.
All eyes on Nines until we hear official confirmation…
