Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is set to hit the big screen next year with Knuckles The Echidna making his live-action premiere!
With Ben Schwartz confirmed to be voicing Sonic The Hedgehog once more, it has been revealed that Idris Elba will be stepping up to provide the voice of Knuckles.
The Luther star took to social media to confirm the exciting news with an image of the distinctive Knuckles hand gesture and a caption reading “Knock Knock…”.
The first move, which made its debut last February, was a hit with movie fans and racked up more than $300 million throughout the world!
It was then later confirmed that the sequel would be coming, welcoming back many of the cast featured the first time around.
The likes of James Marsden and Jim Carrey are set to star alongside Schwartz and Elba in the coming second instalment of the Sonic The Hedgehog movie franchise.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will hit cinemas in April 2022!
