J. Cole has amped up fans by hitting social media to tease upcoming music.

Taking to Instagram, the U.S. star shared an image of his release schedule alongside the caption: “I still got some goals I gotta check off for’ I scram.”

The post suggests the U.S. star will release two projects – titled The Off-Season and It’s A Boy – before he releases his highly-anticipated album The Fall Off. The image also shows he has already ticked off two things on his list which are his run of guest features in recent years, as well as the release of the third Dreamville album, Revenge of the Dreamers 3 [ROTD3] which dropped last year.

In an essay he wrote for the The Players’ Tribune back in July, Cole hinted at retirement and the caption which references “scramming” also implies he plans to step away from music following the release of The Fall Off.

“On my career bucket list” Cole wrote in the essay, “there remain a few more items to check off before I give myself permission to enter whatever the next chapter of my life may be.”

At present, it’s not known when Cole plans on releasing The Fall-Off or the other potential projects before but stay tuned while we wait for more information.
