J Hus’ long-awaited second studio album, Big Conspiracy, has finally arrived.
Serving as the follow-up to his 2017 LP Common Sense, anticipation for Big Conspiracy has been high for a while and now that the project is finally here, fans of the east London artist definitely won’t be disappointed.
Over the years, J Hus has paved his own lane in the scene with his own distinct sound, creatively combining afrobeats and rap – resulting in what is now referred to as afro swing – and his newest album is a combination of both genres and other elements too. Big Conspiracy is also a fusion of raw and uncut tracks such as “No Denying” and more smooth singles like “Repeat” featuring Koffee, a testament to Hus’ versatility and authenticity as a musician.
In addition to Koffee’s appearance, the album also features Burna Boy and Iceé TGM – with Hus’ collaboration with Ella Mai expected to be added soon.
With Big Conspiracy being J Hus’ first release of 2020, it’s clear he has massive plans to dominate the music industry this decade.
