J Spades, Haze & Wholagun link up for “Something About Me”

29 November 2015

J Spades is back to business, with a brand new recording titled “Something About Me”. He brings along a couple of friends who want to let you know about them too, enlisting newcomer Haze for a guest verse and Wholagun on the hook.

The track is a hard rap banger, with the skittering snare-led instrumental provided by South London-based producer Michelin Shin, who has also crafted beats for the likes of Tiggs Da Author and K Koke.

Although it hasn’t been all that long since we last had a full-length project from J Spades, the prospect of a new one coming soon is always good.

Back in August, Spades released his album ‘Get Rich Together’ and went to number 3 on the iTunes hip-hop chart. Make sure you cop that project here, with features from the likes of Tinie Tempah, Krept & Konan and Blade Brown.

The East London geezer has also never been short of controversy in recent years. He had a lot to say about the lack of unity in East London in a recent interview.

Haze, who features on the track, recently dropped a project too. Executive produced by American heavyweight Harry Fraud, ‘London Boy’ is worth a listen, with the Giggs-featuring track ‘Lift Your Wallets’ a highlight. Download that here.
