South-east London artist and producer Jim Legxacy has accompanied the release of his latest track with a fresh set of visuals.
Titled “cold lewisham roses”, this song is a heartfelt offering from Jim Legxacy who blends the sounds of afrobeats and R&B to reflect on a past love, particularly the darker times in a relationship.
Like the track, the Fidel-directed visuals capture the themes of love and heartbreak and show Jim Legxacy experiencing the highs and lows of a toxic relationship.
“The hypnotic melodies of cold lewisham roses contrast with the piercing lyrics much like a baseless relationship would have moments of euphoria and despondency,” Fidel explains, “these are the themes that we explored throughout the visual narrative.”
