Following the release of his number 1 album ‘B4.DA.$$’ Joey Bada$$ releases the thought provoking visuals to “Like Me”, featuring BJ The Chicago Kid. The Pro Era film shines light on the topic of unarmed black men being murdered by the police in America.
Joey explained the concept, which references, Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown, stating: “In the video, the hot-headed guy, he gets killed by the police with a gun in his hand, and me, the cool guy, who is away from all the violence, I still end up being mixed in the loop—just being a victim because of my surroundings or where I’m from.”
