Julie Adenuga is killing it, along with the rest of the Adenuga household. Her series ‘Play It’ made a debut last year on Dailymotion in which she would interview artists and even get live performances from artists such as MOBO winner Stormzy and more.

From there she then collaborated with Channel AKA to take the show onto their platform, then she gave us season two. With features such as Avelino, Jammz and Maxsta, a lot of people loved it. Now announced is the ‘Play It’ compilation which will go alongside an end of year party to mark the two year milestone. The tracklist is as follows:

1. MS BANKS – HALLELUJAH

2. INCISIVE – VIBE

3. CHE LINGO – WHOOPS

4. RAHEEM BAKARE – PURPLE SKY

5. CONNIE CONSTANCE – STARS

6. YOUNGS TEFLON – SEPERATE

7. FREDWAVE – CHANGE

8. FOOTSIE – TIME IS MONEY

9. SHYSTIE – CAN’T TELL ME NOTHING

10. ICIE – THE BECOMING

11. STORMZY – KNOW ME FROM

12. TERRI WALKER – LOSE TWICE

13. MAXSTA – COMING FROM

14. KODER – NOAH’S ARK

15. JAMMZ – WAY BACK

16. EL NOVA – DIE FOR YOU

17. ROCKS FOE – BRILLIANT

18. PAIGEY CAKEY – DAY ONE

19. OLIVIA LOUISE – PEAK

20. BROTHERHOOD – FIRE BACK

21. NO LAY – LIT (REMIX)

Speaking on the compilation Julie said “After two years of producing & presenting my own TV show – a celebration is definitely in order. What initially started out as a special end of year party that would have possibly been a live streamed episode has evolved into something that gives a very clear stamp of what PLAYit has accomplished (we’re still going to have a party – everyone loves a party). I hope the compilation draws attention to what PLAYit is all about, the type of artist/musician it represents & the various types of music these artists & musicians create. Giving unsigned talented people a platform is our only goal, we want to work as hard as they do & continue to push them where we can & then have a party at the end!”

We want to congratulate Julie on bringing light on the scene and pushing us further, we are excited to hear the compilation.
