Kano has teamed up with Caribbean rum brand Duppy Share to release a brand-new short film!
Titled A Blessed Place and directed by Aneil Karia, this film follows Kano as he explores his Jamaican heritage; shedding light on his experiences on the island as well as its culture. We also hear Kano reflect on Jamaica’s influence on the rest of the world and describes the country as the “smallest place with the hugest impact”.
The film has been released in partnership with Duppy Share, who Kano recently connected with to launch his own 100% Jamaican rum dubbed ‘Duppy White’.
“For me, whatever I do has to be the real deal,” Kano said at the time of the launch. “This drink comes from me. This is my life, my family’s story inside this bottle, and wrapped around this bottle. This is something I believe in and genuinely love as a product.”
