Kim Kardashian recently teased an upcoming Kanye West album entitled Jesus Is King and now Yeezy himself has confirmed the LP.
During his recent Sunday Service in Atlanta, Kanye West made a speech to the 600 guests in attendance in which he announced the album would be released on September 27th.
West’s confirmation of Jesus Is King comes weeks after his wife, Kim Kardashian, posted a photo of the album title and tracklist on Instagram.
Judging by the title of the album and its songs – such as “God Is” and “Sweet Jesus” – the album appears to be inspired by Kanye West’s popular Sunday Service shows in which the rapper conducts a gospel choir who perform a number of his hits.
Yeezy had previously announced an album named Yandhi in 2018 but it appears that project has been replaced, or delayed, by his forthcoming LP.
