Kanye West announced that he is opening a prep school in California called Donda Academy and now the private school is accepting applications.
Named after his late mother, the school’s mission statement says that its aims are to, “prepare students to become the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators.”
The statement also says that they will provide students with “a world-class education that includes a rigorous core curriculum, and an emphasis on sustainability, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.”
The admissions form which can be found on the school’s official website asks for personal information as well as a specific pathway for the student to be enrolled under.
The school will cater to the school years K to 12 or ages 5 to 18.
The move comes as Kanye continues to expand the Donda brand to include an eponymous album, fashion and possible tech products as evidenced by his recent trademarking efforts.
