In anticipation of the highly-anticipated FA Cup final between Man United and Man City at Wembley Stadium today (June 3), Kick Game recently teamed up with the Emirates FA Cup and VERSUS to bring an innovative event to their Covent Garden store.
‘The Final Cut’ took place on Thursday 1st June and brought the history of the FA Cup to a younger audience with PS5 gaming experiences, live DJs and even a barber shop to get fresh trims while the good vibes were buzzing around you. There were also drinks provided by Brixton Brewery to cool off while the event was going on.
A few highlights from the brilliant evening were the amazing podcast guru Chuckie Online, Birmingham rap icon Mist, Toronto’s finest Gaming Video Creator ChuBoi and the esteemed DJ Kennedy Taylor – who had the bangers spinning all night long – all on a panel discussing the impact of football in culture, the history of the game, fashion, trims, and some intriguing predictions.
If all this wasn’t enough entertainment already, social media sensation IShowSpeed made an appearance to get his hands on the FA Cup trophy and on the PS5 to challenge the likes of Mkfray and ChuBoi to a couple of games.
In all, this Kick Game collaboration with The Emirates FA Cup and VERSUS created an unforgettable night that reminded everyone why we love the beautiful game so much in preparation for what should be an incredible FA Cup final.
