  1. The Promoter

The promoter is GRIME DAILY LIMITED of 124 City Road, London EC1V 2XN (the “Promoter”). 

  1. The Competition
    1. The competition will take place during the GRM Gala at the Sky Garden on 6 August 2023 (the “GRM Gala”) and will run from 3pm on 6 August 2023 (the “Opening Time”) to 10pm (the “Closing Time”) inclusive.
    2. To enter the competition to win the Prize (as defined herein), participants must pay £20 at the GRM Gala to receive a numbered raffle ticket (the “Competition”).
    3. The Winner of the Competition will be selected after the Closing Time at the GRM Gala, when a numbered raffle ticket shall be subsequently drawn at random. The Winner shall be the holder of the selected raffle ticket.
    4. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, or damaged.
  2. Eligibility
    1. The Competition is open to all persons aged 18 years or over whose names are on the GRM Gala guestlist and who attends the GRM Gala in person but excluding:
      1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
      3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    2. By accepting the Prize, the Winner confirms that they believe themselves to be eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require the Winner to provide proof that they are eligible to do so.
    3. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify the Winner if the Winner’s conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
  3. The Prize
    1. One (1) Rolex watch (the “Prize”) worth approximately £10,000. 
    2. The Winner may only be one (1) person.
    3. The Prize is provided by the Promoter.
    4. The Prize does not include insurance. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner and the Winner shall not be compensated for any such incidental costs by the Promoter. 
    5. There is no cash alternative for the Prize, and the Prize is non-negotiable and non-transferable. 
  4. Winner
    1. The individual selected pursuant to clause 2.3 herein will be declared winner of the Competition (the “Winner”).  Such selection is final, and no further correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    2. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will announce the Winner at the GRM Gala or send the surname of Winner to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to the address set out in clause 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within 1 month of the GRM Gala. 
    3. If the Winner objects to their surname being published or made available, they should contact the Promoter by email at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the winner’s information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. 
  5. Claiming the Prize
    1. The Winner must claim the Prize at the GRM Gala by producing a matching numbered raffle ticket.
    2. If the Winner does not claim the Prize by the end of the GRM Gala, the Winner’s claim will become invalid.
    3. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Winner’s behalf.
    4. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the Winner is not able to take up the Prize.
  6. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death (either of the Winner or of any third party) occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Winner’s statutory rights are not affected.

    1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude the Winner from being eligible for the Competition.
    2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
    3. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any person wishes to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts of England and Wales.
