Since we’re all stuck at home due to the Coronavirus lockdown, what better way to pass the time than finding a new show to binge. If you’re stuck on what to watch then look no further as we’ve put together a list of the best series you can feast your eyes on. 

Black Mirror:

At the moment it seems like we’re all in an episode of Black Mirror, even the series producer Charlie Brooker admitted that he was psychic after fans joked that the star predicted coronavirus in the show, Dead Set. Black Mirror is a British science-fiction anthology television series that examines modern society, you’ll never get bored as every episode has a new story.

Chernobyl
:

The series retells the 1986 Chernobyl disaster and the cleanup effort that followed. The multi-award-winning series is a challenging but exciting watch that will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat.

Narcos
:

The events in Narcos are all based on a true story about the drug cartel in Medellin, and how Pablo Escobar is responsible for getting drugs to America. Hip-Hop fans can also see a familiar face, as Migos member Quavo has a cameo in season 2, posing as a LA drug dealer.

Homeland
:

Series one sees the love/hate relationship form between CIA officer Carrie Mathison and US Marine Nicholas Brody who she fears is plotting a terrorist attack on America after being brainwashed during his eight years held captive by al-Qaeda. The plot twists will keep you locked into the eight seasons of the show.

Dave:

In times like these, we all need a bit of laughter, and Dave, the latest comedy series created by Kevin Hart based on the life of rapper and comedian Lil Dicky will have you in hysterics.

The series is inspired by real-life events that follow Nazi hunters over the decades. Empowered by a strong cast and an even stronger sense of justice, the award-winning actor Al Pacino takes the lead.

Peaky Blinders
:

We all know someone obsessed with this show, so why not take this time to watch one of the most eye-catching TV endeavours. The series revolves around a notorious gang in 1919 Birmingham, England, and is led by the fierce Tommy Shelby, a crime boss set on moving up in the world no matter the cost.

The Walking Dead:

With ten series, The Walking Dead is the ultimate binge-worthy show set in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. If you like action and gore then this is the perfect series for you.

Tiger King:

If you haven’t heard of Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, the two rivals of the show, then have you been living under a rock? The phenomenally popular miniseries featuring tigers, criminals and polygamy have resulted in memes, celebrity fans, and a newly awakened legal case.

Top Boy:

The U.K. crime drama is set in Hackney, east London, and follows members of street gangs who are involved in drug dealing. If you’re a Drake fan, you’ll know the Canadian star is a big fan of the show and has even become the series ‘executive producer.

Euphoria:

 

Euphoria is an American version of an Israeli series following a group of high school students as they explore love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, and social media. Drake and manager Future the Prince have produced the show.
