A son who sued his parents for throwing away his porn collection has won his case in court.
The 42-year-old man from Michigan in the USA has asked for £18,487 in damages after his parents got rid of his “trove of pornography and array of sex toys.”
His lawyer said, “We have asked the Court for treble damages, which we believe are warranted given the wanton destruction of the property. This was a collection of often irreplaceable items and property.”
The mishap happened after the man moved back in with his parents after his divorce. When he left their home, he noticed that the adult items were missing.
In an email, his father said, “Frankly, David, I did you a big favour getting rid of all this stuff.”
The U.S District Attorney has ruled in the son’s favour and all parties must now file paperwork to determine how much should be paid out.
