Migos are one of hip-hop’s most popular groups but fans are speculating that the trio might have sadly split up.
The breakup rumours emerged after a social media user noticed both Offset and his wife Cardi B unfollowed Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram – suggesting a bit of friction within the Migos camp.
News of a potential split arrives after Quavo and Takeoff announced a new single under a new duo name, Unc and Phew, which is a reference to their familial relationship. The song is dubbed “Hotel Lobby” and is due for release tomorrow (May 20).
Despite being a close-knit group, each of the Migos members have worked on solo projects over the years. Offset spoke about their solo releases in a 2018 interview with XXL, saying: “This s**t is just showcase. We just wanted to show the world that it can be done and you still be home team. But the group is for all the shit.”
However, it looks like things may have changed since then.
At the moment the rumours are all speculative and Migos’ reps have not confirmed the breakup.
