Its been almost four years since his part one, but Novelist is back to bless Toddla T’s mic once again with part two of his freestyle, courtesy of BBC’s Radio 1Xtra.
The Lewisham native who musically, is known to be one of the pioneering young emcees from the cities capital, is also as influential from a social standpoint and has been seen supporting a number of campaigns and marches fighting for equality, most particularly during the Black Lives Matter’ movement. However, for the past year or two, Novelist has been rather quiet on the scene and has only dropped a few videos, notably his effort with long term collaborator J.D. Reid.
Having said that, his latest freestyle with Toddla T reminds us why he is so well respected as he reintroduces his veteran flow, something which is reminiscent of a Blacklisted era Skepta.
