Rising South London rapper Proph returns with the new single “Milano” after heavily teasing the track throughout last month.
The track – produced by J.LBS who’s previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kali Uchis and Schoolboy Q – is mood music for real rap fans and the generations before and after him. The track is packed with cultural references; Tech Fleeces, his likeness to Cristiano Ronaldo, or his ambition to pop up at Milan Fashion Week. The 20-year-old’s attention to detail sets him apart from his contemporaries, and he continues to have fun and fly the flag for Thornton Heath, as referenced in the video.
