We’re back with another instalment of our One Mic series and stepping up on this one is emerging south Londoner, Proph (formerly known as Prophet).
With drops such as “Roadside” and “High Horse”, Proph has steadily been making a name for himself in recent times and his his One Mic session is another reminder as to why you shouldn’t sleep on him.
Not only does Proph demonstrate his versatility during this freestyle, he also flexes his multi-talented nature as he produces both the soulful production at the start and the more contemporary and hard-hitting beat towards the end.
It’s clear what Proph’s mission is as he raps “I’m bringing back real rap for all the youngins” and if this freestyle is anything to go by, it won’t be a hard task for the newcomer.
