Rapman has released “Letter to Cadet”; an emotional tribute to the late rapper who passed away earlier this month.
Rapman honours the storytelling and raw artist who consistently wowed and spun listeners with his honest and vulnerable lyrics. Rapman recalls the first time he met Cadet, their growing friendship, his favourite of Cadet’s freestyles and he recalls Cadet’s scene-stealing appearance in the Shiro’s Story series and the last conversation he had with his friend and collaborator.
The emotional visuals include clips of Cadet on set as well as footage from the recent Hyde Park tribute event.
