Rising R&B musician Reuben Aziz releases his new single, “day+night”, taken from his forthcoming mixtape.
Joined by “Sexy Drill” pioneer wolfacejoeyy, the track is the duo’s first collaboration, having teased new music on Balamii Radio earlier this year. The track takes a new spin on R&B with elements of pop and drill, which is complemented by a VFX-heavy video directed by Will Norman.
Speaking on the single, Reuben said, “I wanted to make something different that still has a bop and captures themes people can relate to. Time is the most precious thing, and it can’t be bought. That message is important to me, and I need to remind myself of it sometimes. Me and Joeyy had wanted to do a song together for a while. Working with him is always fun, as we’re twins from different countries. It comes very naturally to us.”
