Shaybo has released her long-awaited debut mixtape dubbed Queen Of The South!

Titled after her moniker which pays homage to her south London roots, this mixtape has been a decade in the making and Shaybo uses the tape to exhibit the skills she’s honed in that time, as well as her fluid style.

To most, Shaybo’s most known for her fiery sound but QOTS is predominantly made up of smooth-sounding singles which reflect Shaybo’s Nigerian heritage such as “Mud”, “Carry & Go” and the “Outro”.

We also hear Shaybo deliver a powerful message on the Jorja Smith-assisted “My Sister” where she speaks directly to victims of domestic abuse.

In addition to Jorja, QOTS also includes the previously released collabs “Friendly” and “Broke Boyz” with Haile and Dreamdoll respectively, as well as a brand-new joint effort with U.S. lyricist Wale titled “No Worries”.

“I feel like you lot don’t understand how much I take my art seriously” Shaybo declares on the project’s opener but by the end of the tape, it’s clear for all her doubters and naysayers to see.
