After the release of his greatly awaited project Different Cloth, Skrapz has wasted no time in dropping more visuals. His latest video for his ‘Outro’ shows the love he has for his circle, documenting his journey thus far.

It is rare to see an artist release a video for the outro of their project, however considering recent events; the release could not be more fitting for the ICB rapper. Last week, it was announced by Skrapz himself that due to unforeseen circumstances, his London headline show had been cancelled, adding to further frustration amongst the Ice City camp, who’s live shows have been limited for some time now. However, on the outro, Skrapz revisits his conscious rap style, laying down the blueprint, explaining his road to success. In doing so, he addresses various setbacks; whether that is on the roads or with the many legal battles he has faced. Although it may appear unfortunate to see for some, Skrapz flips the negativity on its head through the track and in his own words, explains that the “fire keeps burning like a candle”, metaphorically elucidating that nobody can halter the journey to his goals.

Not only may the track need a couple wheelups to catch every bar that is so intricately placed within his verses, but the visuals by Kevin Hudson really sets the scene to give the track an utterly reflective tone, making for a perfect end to such a fulfilled musical project.
