BROCKHAMPTON have recently released their latest album, Ginger. But with no feature names on the track-list, fans have been left surprised with Northampton’s very own slowthai getting his own little slot on the album – where he owns “HEAVEN BELONGS TO YOU”.
As the audio came out recently, BROCKHAMPTON have supplied us with the official video to slowthai’s performance on the record.
Coming with his boyish and rugged charm, Thai manages to rock the obscure beat as his vocals dominate, yet compliment the instrumental as he takes on the 90-second head-nodder. In the visuals we see slowthai read his lyrics from some paper, as it appears the Northampton MC is being forced to perform the tune by the BROCKHAMPTON collective.
With the concept being an unorthodox one, the performance from the group comes as an effective one as it fits the obscurity of both the slowthai and BROCKHAMPTON brands well.
