The self-proclaimed “Golden Boy” of Hackney, SNE, has released the enchanting “Come Again” in the run up to the release of his ‘Essence’ EP. The track is the seventh track on the project.
His lyrics resonate with all of us hopeless romantics as he ponders over the prolonged love of his ex, with his words intertwining with a woozy ever-changing beat. The track samples Aaliyah’s “Come Over” slow jam (thus the wordplay in the name), and is produced by Penhouse. SNE also pays homage to Jagged Edge’s “Walked Outta Heaven”, reciting the lyrics from the track at the end of his song.
Unfortunately ‘Essence’ doesn’t have a release date yet, but according to the MC’s Twitter, it’s finished and (thankfully) coming soon.
