Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the past few days, you would’ve heard about Azealia Banks’ racist Twitter stunt. It began after she accused Zayn Malik of ripping off her video, and ended up with her throwing racist comments at him.
But on Twitter, nothing goes unsaid and nothing goes unnoticed. Her stunt was of particular interest to the “#CurryScentedBitches” she was insulting, who instantly owned her slurs, turning them into a celebration of their strong will and wonderful culture.
It started with this Canadian YouTube comedian…
It soon led to the girls’ involvement. They began posting buff selfies in protest, aptly parading their culture all over her racist ass. Jus Reign perfectly shut down Azealia using her own game, calling up her obvious appropriating of the culture she was bashing.
Following her rant, the rapper has been pulled from Rinse FM’s Born & Bred Festival. She’a also had her Twitter account suspended, even after opening up a new one. Hopefully, this will be that last we hear of Azealia Banks’ slander for a while.
